Afrovibes will return in 2023 with a new edition of the festival. With an extensive program of contemporary dance, music, theater and design by contemporary makers and artists from Senegal, Ivory Coast, Cameroon, Guinea, Congo, from Kenya and South Africa and from the African diaspora in France, Austria, Belgium and the Netherlands. In Frascati, De Balie, Podium Mozaiek, Bijlmer Parktheater and CC Amstel. PLEASE NOTE: Listed dates and starting times for 2023 are subject to change

This edition of Afrovibes Festival once again brings a program that shows the diversity and power of change in the African continent. This year the focus is mainly on West Africa and the West African diaspora in Europe. The choreographers, directors, writers, dancers, actors and graphic designers come from Senegal, Ivory Coast, Cameroon, Guinea, Congo, Kenya and South Africa and from the African diaspora in France, Austria, Belgium and the Netherlands. The theme this year is RUPTURE | RAPTURE. The delight and pleasure we get from our contact with others. And the division and disruption that can arise between people and cultures.
Afrovibes brings together big names from African theater makers, but also emerging talent with the potential to become the big names of tomorrow. If you want to see it, Afrovibes is a festival not to be missed.
