Final exam exhibitions

This year, a selection committee will visit all graduation exhibitions throughout the Netherlands for the ninth time. They select the 25 best 'graduates' from hundreds of graduates from the 11 leading Dutch art academies.

Many previous Sprouts participants have found their way to renowned galleries and their work is exhibited on national and international stages. Don't miss these rising stars!

Prices

SBK Sprouts Young Talents not only offers a platform for emerging artists, but also the chance to win prestigious art prizes. Two prizes will be awarded: the SBK Sprouts Young Talent Award and the SBK-Otto Hetterscheid Stimuleringsprijs. The SBK Sprouts Young Talent Award is awarded to a recently graduated artist with an original and investigative view of the world, who knows how to communicate this in a clear and accessible way.

In addition, there is the SBK-Otto Hetterscheid Stimulation Prize, which gives the winner the opportunity to exhibit in one of the SBK galleries. In addition to the exhibition, this prize also offers publicity and the purchase of the work. Sprouts Young Talents is a unique opportunity for young artists to gain recognition and kick-start their artistic careers.

The ninth edition of Sprouts will be opened by Amsterdam alderman Touria Meliani (Art & Culture).
