Ode to Zubrowka, the Muse of Club RoXY
Club RoXY, the iconic club in Amsterdam was home to many kinds of people until it burned down in 1999. Cleo Campert was a house photographer and photographed and filmed a lot in the 80s and 90s. In this presentation, she shares her memories. In two halls Campert shows an ode to Club RoXY and to performing artist Zubrowka International.

Revival of Club RoXY
Are you feeling nostalgic for the iconic club or did you unever get to go there? Then this is your chance. In part of the exhibition, relive one of the endless, wild night parties full of creativity and self-expression with videos and cassettes from Campert's own archive. RoXY was a paradise retreat for anyone who wanted to escape the gray outside world. A silent disco brings a micro version of the nightclub into the present at the Amsterdam Museum.
The Muse Zubrowka
Campert's second installation zooms in on the people who made Club RoXY such an exceptional place. And especially performing artist Zubrowka. A series of photos, the throne and dioramas offer an overview of her flamboyant appearances and humorous performances that embodied the free spirit of the disco.
