Nan Goldin - This will not end well
Nan Goldin is one of the most talked-about artists. Her view of the joys and sorrows of a human life through the lens of her camera is legendary. Her photos of herself and her friends are snapshots of intimacy and connection, ranging from the mundane to the wild of nightlife. She makes social issues visible and open to discussion.

Thousands of photos
In the largest hall of the Stedelijk, Nan Goldin returns to the origins of her artistic practice with the exhibition This Will Not End Well. As a filmmaker, she presents slideshows in six rooms consisting of thousands of photos, supported by music, voice-overs and archive material.
Nan Goldin’s exhibition is very popular and welcomes many visitors daily. We want everyone to be able to enjoy the exhibition thoroughly. Therefore, we only sell tickets with time slots starting from October 20 through our online store. The time slot indicates when you may enter the exhibition. The rest of the museum remains accessible with a ticket without a time slot.
