Kairos_Lux Æterna - Op zoek naar goddelijke extase

Inspired by the Christian labyrinth

Artist Susanna Brenner de Grote of Laurenskerk in Weesp with her unique multimedia art installation KAIROS_LUX ÆTERNA . This compelling sculpture of thread, color and light hangs in the choir of the church, where she relives the mysticism and history of this sacred space.

Inspired by the Christian labyrinth, Brenner's work interweaves themes of time, spirituality and connection. Brenner challenges visitors to reflect on their own inner journey.

The wire sculptures represent the ties that bind us, while the layered soundscape weaves an auditory tapestry, offering a multi-sensory journey, a powerful, immersive experience.

Due to the great interest during the festival, KAIROS_LUX ÆTERNA will remain accessible until early January. The festive closing will take place on Saturday, January 11, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Admission is free, but voluntary donations are greatly appreciated.
