Four Legs Good, Two Legs Bad
In the group exhibition Four Legs Good, Two Legs Bad, five animals are the artists. An animal whisperer has given them a voice, and the humans are the assistants who have carried out their concepts, at Nieuw Dakota at de MS van Riemsdijkweg 41b in Amsterdam.

About the exhibition
The animals say there is a distance between you and us, except perhaps in death. I'm not surprised that ravens yearn for the apocalypse. And giraffes wish for the collapse of the human world.
Lynxes prefer to see new game moving through verdant cities, where eye contact between man and ape is on an equal footing. Some of the beasts suggest — a murmur of approval is heard — to turn back time. Grunts and geeks decide that total extinction is also a possibility.
At the very least — wings and tail swings make explicit — all extinct, never scientifically described animal species should still receive a sung species name. Once animals were messengers and promises, but I don't understand them anymore. No human being can speak for them. We're not even sure when they're talking to us.
