In 2008, Lino Hellings founded the international photo press agency PAPA. Hellings taught local correspondents to look according to the method of the PAPA Photo Walk. In this method, photos are taken of things that catch the eye, without a preconceived plan. Together, the photos form a story. The Amsterdam cultural photo archive is included in the collection of the IISG (International Institute of Social History) and will be exhibited on the walls of the IISG from 27 May to 27 October.

During the opening, PAPA creator Lino Hellings and correspondents Roosje Verschoor (Oost) and Roberto van Maanen (Zuid), creative producer and correspondent Orville Yssel (all districts) and designer Nienke Terpsma will speak. Rimke van der Bij (IISG) will talk about the importance of the archive. Rose Spijkerman (IISG) will present the afternoon.
