Dikes
The strengthening, and here and there widening, of the dikes is a topical subject with a lot to experience visually. Beautiful colored sand plains, beautiful strong stones, old basalt blocks, a variety of designs for the dikes, strong machines and the so innocent looking water; we see it all in Anneke's landscapes.
Anneke Peereboom lives and works in Edam. She has followed various courses: the Rietveld Academy, the Drawing & Painting teacher training, the National Academy and a Master's degree in Art & Culture.
