Situated on the Nieuwezijds Voorburgwal, Miss Louisa Coffee & Beignets packs as much sweetness as possible into just a few square meters. People go as quickly as they come, because of the fast-paced service of the staff. With the opening of Miss Louisa Coffee & Beignets, a new delight appears from a cloud of powdered sugar to woo sugar-craving city dwellers: the beignet. This sweet treat, made famous by Cafe du Monde in New Orleans, is created by Executive Chef SammyD. The beignets are dusted with powdered sugar and served with a guest’s choice of one dipping sauce from the following selection: chocolate, vanilla, caramel or berries. The accompanying cups of caffeine are made with a signature coffee blend. In cooperation with supplier Brasil Coffee, Chef SammyD and the Miss Louisa team developed a custom blend of locally roasted beans. It’s the perfect brew for a down-to-earth cup o' joe as well as a creamy latte or strong espresso.

Miss Louisa's home

Miss Louisa is named after the daughter of J.P. Wyers who ran a business in the building in the 1950s. Beignets are sold like hot cakes at the oak wood counter. Geometric black and white tiling, glossy surfaces and a large amount of glass in the design make Miss Louisa Coffee & Beignets a light and modern space. From now on, the rushed coffee lover and savvy sweet-toothed Amsterdammer wander off to the Nieuwezijds Voorburgwal. They cross paths at Miss Louisa Coffee & Beignets.
