Turtle dreams
Monk's turtle dreams led to the album Turtle dreams (1983), on which she explored the endless possibilities of her voice as usual. Meredith Monk's urge to explore inspired Zonzo Compagnie to create this performance. Zonzo Compagnie is a Belgian youth music theater company that previously made portrait performances about JS Bach, Henry Purcell, John Cage and Miles Davis.
