'Make it rain girl, make it rain!' Yaeji conquered the alternative club scene in 2017 with the catchy lo-fi hit Raingurl. She soon collaborated with stars such as Charli XCX and Dua Lipa. On her long-awaited debut album “With A Hammer”, which was finally released in April 2023, Yaeji pours a lifetime of anger and activism into a light mix of hyper-K-pop, R&B and experimental electronics. The album only received rave reviews, from 3voor12 and De Volkskrant to Pitchfork.
