Wende is one of the most versatile artists in the Netherlands. She goes from pop to electronic, to jazz and classical, and combines these music styles in interdisciplinary albums and performances. Her trophy cabinet reflects that diversity; she won an Edison in almost every category and was nominated for a Golden Calf as an actress. The album 'MENS' won the Edison Pop Award 2019 in the Best Album category and was nominated for the Best Dutch Album. The single 'Het Is Genoeg' is the kick-off for her new album 'Sterrenlopen', which is expected in September.
