Vincent Peirani ‘Jokers’ ft. Federico Casagrande & Ziv Ravitz
With his limitless playing, across all genres, this accordionist is at the top of French jazz. Whether it's jazz, classical, rock, Thelonious Monk or Nine Inch Nails: Vincent Peirani throws it all into the blender. The French accordionist likes to venture into uncharted territory with the trio Jokers. Just as the joker can constantly appear in different roles and guises, these three virtuosos alternate. They continuously take on different roles, as soloist, accompanist, in the foreground or background. Can be seen and heard in the Bimhuis.

Vincent Peirani 'Jokers'
All kinds of movements from all over the world can be heard in their music. Vincent Peirani reached the top of French jazz as an accompanist for greats such as Michel Portal, Daniel Humair and Louis Sclavis. His own trio Jokers also consists of the Italian jazz guitarist Federico Casagrande and the Israeli drummer Ziv Ravitz. The latter has previously performed with us in various formations, including with saxophone legend Lee Konitz and with younger band leaders such as Linda Oh, Omer Klein and Shai Maestro.
