She was half of the duo Tomaga and can be heard frequently in countless other projects, live and in the studio. During the corona pandemic, Magaletti's first solo album, A queer anthology of drums (2020), was released, on which she combines drums and percussion with found sounds, toys and electronics. This compelling sound strip forms the starting point for her performance.

Born in Italy and based in London, Magaletti collaborates with musicians in a variety of genres, from experimental bassist Marlene Ribeiro (GNOD) and producer Nicolas Jaar to guitarist Thurston Moore (Sonic Youth), singer-songwriter Bat for Lashes and percussion legend Han Bennink . The constant in her playing is the enormous expressiveness. With limited resources, Magaletti can achieve great effects, although she also shows her virtuoso side when necessary. You can be sure of one thing: every blow is a hit.
