Between Light and Air

After his debut album 'Tussen Licht en Lucht' in 2007, a performance for King Willem Alexander and Queen Máxima followed in 2013. But especially after his album 'Lobi Da Basi' came collaborations with Fakkelbrigade and New Cool Collective and performances with his 10-piece Titanenband at Lowlands, North Sea Jazz, Pinkpop, Ziggo Dome and the HMH (now Afas Live), among others.

After this he formed the house band of De Wereld Draait Door, received two Edisons (Best Album and Hip Hop Artist), performed fourteen times at Vrienden Van Amstel Live, but also ended up in a burnout.

Everything Is Blessed

After a year of rest came the Veranda Sessions, singles like 'Alles Is Gezegend' and he was a guest at 'Zomergasten' for three hours. After encouraging people on Keti Koti (the Surinamese holiday celebrating the abolition of slavery) to be brave in their discomfort to get closer together, his album 'Lichthuis' was released on October 30, 2020. After this he founded 'De Tuin Van' in a lonely period for many, wrote the platinum single 'Als Ik Je Weer Zie' together with Thomas Acda, Paul de Munnik and Maan in 2021 and started performing with 'The Streamers' . In 2022, his club tour 'Lichthuis' took place in the summer months, he started again with 'Vrienden Van Amstel Live' and became an ambassador for the Join Us Foundation, to draw attention to loneliness among young people.
