Toverberg

After two English-language albums, Toverberg decided it was time for something new: Dutch-language singer/songwriter music. For 'Tranen in de Wind', Toverberg's first Dutch-language album that will be released in February 2023, the musician went in search of the core. Everything went overboard: Cool sounds, drones, gospel choirs, strings, horns, distortion and a foreign language to hide behind. The result is a disarming album that feels intimate and all-encompassing in an ingenious way. Small disarming songs about big subjects. The text is central, accompanied by an acoustic guitar. In 2022 we were already able to taste this with the singles Wennen, Warm Greetings and Tears in the Wind.
