The official kick-off of Amsterdam Dance Event will take place in the Melkweg for the seventh year with a special collaboration of the progressive Metropole Orkest. This time with electronic duo Tinlicker.

Orchestral remake

Their signature mix of progressive house, indietronica and melodic techno lends itself perfectly to an orchestral remake. Under the direction of conductor Simon Dobson, the compelling electronic beats, fiery rousing arpeggios and acoustic live instrumentation melt together. It promises to be the most danceable ADE opening concert to date. Expect a diverse setlist of Tinlicker's greatest hits, fan favorites and new music specially composed for the occasion.

Opening concert

In recent years, the opening concert in the Melkweg has become a recurring and impressive part of the programming of the Amsterdam Dance Event. After previous successful collaborations with Henrik Schwarz, Jameszoo, Colin Benders, SOHN, Weval and Suzanne Ciani, the Metropole Orkest takes on the challenge of exploring another spectrum of electronic music. Tinlicker's very first live show ever was during ADE 2021 in the Melkweg. Since then they have traveled all over the world. Now they are back for another great adventure.
