Thomas Azier

Thomas Azier is a Dutch composer, producer, singer, and performer. His debut album Hylas was released during his residency in Berlin on his eponymous label. Azier has won two Edison Awards, the Deutsche Schallplattenkritik for his second album Rouge , and a Berlin Music Video Award for Verwandlung . Over the past twelve years, Thomas Azier has released six albums, with which he has shaped his own vision of pop music. His songs Red Eyes and The Dreamer In Her were used by YSL for La Nuit de l'Homme, and Love, Disorderly is part of the soundtrack of the American blockbuster The Equalizer 3. Thomas has performed live over 500 times, including at festivals such as Lowlands, Best Kept Secret, Eurockéennes, and Montreal Jazz. Azier regularly collaborates with various European musicians from the classical and jazz scenes, such as drummer Simon Segers, saxophonist Maarten Hogenhuis, arranger Janos Mijnssen, experimental guitarist Obi Blanche, and synth player Annelotte Coster. His influence on the European pop scene can also be heard in his work as a writer and producer for artists such as Stromae, Faber, Morpheus, Hang Youth and Anouk.
