The Slow Readers Club are a four piece band from Manchester. You can clearly hear that they come from the United Kingdom. This is not necessarily due to singer Aaron Starkie's British accent, but mainly to the fact that the gentlemen make genuine Britpop.

Dark and atmospheric
Hard guitar riffs in combination with danceable electropop provide a dark and at the same time atmospheric sound. Their fifth album entitled '91 Days in Isolation' is no exception. It was written during the lockdown in the United Kingdom and with that typical dark Manchester sound, it captures the mood of the nation at the time.
