Country and rock
The Mavericks have been crisscrossing the genres of country and rock since the band was formed in 1989. After successes in the 1990s, things have remained quiet since 2003 because the musicians each went their own way. Until 2012, when they celebrate more than 30 years of their band's existence.
Their first fully Spanish-language album 'En Español' will be released in 2020 and will be released on their own label Mono Mundo—an album full of musical diversity and traditions; tender boleros, brassy mariachi and Afro-Cuban classics. Like the band, The Mavericks' albums cannot be placed in one corner. According to them, they are the right melting pot of rustic country, rock and Tex-Mex mixed with salsa, ska, norteño, mariachi and sharp guitar parts.
Please note: the end time is an indication.
