The Chats
Zero f*cks attitude
When you think of Australian pub punk, you think of The Chats. The band from Queensland, Australia, started playing together in high school. A month before the boys received their diplomas, they released their self-titled debut EP. The Chats' second EP, Get This In Ya, had been online for half a year until the band suddenly had a viral hit with the music video for the song 'Smoko', which reached millions of views on YouTube within a few days.
Since then, The Chats have been known for their loud and chaotic live shows and 'zero f*cks attitude'. The band has toured with Australian punk legends Cosmic Psychos, US rock heavyweights Queens of the Stone Age and fellow piss-wrecks Pist Idiots. In the meantime, they are four EPs, a debut album, and national and international tours further, but fortunately, The Chats show no signs that they will ever slow down.
