Just like their performance at Rewire Festival, The Hague, the duo will give an exceptional preview performance at the Rode Bioscoop, Amsterdam.
Vasilev & Koleva from Bulgaria integrate elements from Bulgarian folk music in their duo compositions with electronics, contemporary music, jazz and improvisation. The warmth of the rosewood enchanted by the live electronics, additional percussion and the sound design of the equally important artist Ruben Kieftenbelt in this new formation immerses the audience in a sublime world of virtuosity, soundscapes, intriguing harmonies, a unique mix of genres and styles.
Especially for the occasion, a new remix version with live electronics of one of the most famous percussion solo Rebonds by Xenakis, will be presented.
