The film music of Harry Potter lends itself perfectly to performance in a large orchestral setting. For this purpose conductor Raymond Janssen is once again working with The International Symphony Orchestra from Lviv and the National Choir of Ukraine 'Dumka'.

The novels by JK Rowling tell the legendary story of apprentice wizard Harry Potter and his friends Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley. Between 2001 and 2011, the books were adapted into films starring Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint and Emma Watson. John Williams composed the soundtracks for the first three Harry Potter films: Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone (2001), Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (2002) and Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (2004). Williams is one of the greatest film music composers of all time and has written the music for Jurassic Park , Saving Private Ryan , Star Wars , ET , Jaws and Schindler's List, among others. Patrick Doyle, Nicholas Hooper and Alexandre Desplat composed the soundtracks for the other five films.
