The song 'Zeffiretti' by Vivaldi should not be missing from this program and refers to the first aria by Vivaldi that brought the duo together. Loosely translated it means 'gentle breezes', but one thing is certain: on this afternoon full of Italian baroque music you will be surprised by passionate, energetic and at times intimate repertoire.

The pair frames the music with stories about the history of this special voice type. It is not without reason that Duo Zeffiretti won both the professional jury and the audience prize at the Grachtenfestival Conservatorium Competition in 2020. The two are now making an international splash, and it's great that they can be heard again at the festival this year!
