Polyphia
PLEASE NOTE: Both concerts in the Melkweg are sold out. The instrumental prog-rock quartet, Polyphia draw their inspiration from jazz, R&B, electronica and hip-hop. This means that they do not fall entirely into the category of prog rock, their genre-transcending sound lies somewhere between lightning fast metal and pure pop in terms of style.
Polyphia
Music as music is meant to be, pure from the heart
They first gained attention with their 2013 EP Inspire after the song "Impassion" went viral. Since then, on albums such as 'Muse', Renaissance and latest achievement 'New Levels New Devils', they have honed their technical instrumental sound even further, combining refined pop hooks with melting guitar solos. Which they also played live on tour with bands like Periphery and Between The Buried and Me.
After four years, successor 'Remember That You Will Die' will be released in 2022. In addition to the band's instrumental and technical music, it will also feature vocals and collaborations with Steve Vai and Deftones frontman Chino Moreno, $not, Sophia Black and many others.
