The London band The Only Ones had their heyday in the 70s, as pioneers of punk rock and power pop. Every now and then successful excursions into psychedelica were made. Peter Perrett was a charismatic and characteristic frontman who achieved great success with his band. In the meantime, we can look back on a special period and the growth of a true cult band, which inspired bands such as The Replacements, Blur, Nirvana and The Libertines.

The new album The Cleansing features guest appearances from his sons, Johnny Marr, Bobby Gillespie, Carlos O'Connell (Fontaines DC) and Alice Go (Dream Wife).
