Pandit Kushal Das & ensemble
Pandit ('scholar') Kushal Das is widely recognized as a master of the sitar. And a worthy successor to his great example, the legendary Pandit Nikhil Banerjee. Kushal Das' playing is characterized by graceful sounds, in which he takes his example from the human voice. He learned a lot from Indian classical singers, but at a young age he already played along with popular film songs.
