Organ recitals with Pietro Paganini

Practical information

The play times take place on the following Saturdays: 29 June, 27 July and 31 August, from 16:00 to 17:00. There is no formal program; Pietro determines a program based on his own inspiration and sheet music. During Pietro's organ playing, visitors cannot walk behind the organ. Of course, you can also visit all the galleries of the attic church.

About Pietro Paganini

Pietro Paganini started playing the piano at the age of 8 and graduated with honours in piano (2000) and harpsichord (2004). In September 2004 he settled in the Netherlands to continue studying harpsichord with Ton Koopman and Tini Mathot at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague. In May 2009 he completed his Master's degree with works by Dietrich Buxtehude. He is one of the few organists who is allowed to play the historic organ of Museum Ons' Lieve Heer op Solder.

Pietro has performed with conductors such as Ton Koopman, Mike Fentross and Enrico Gatti, and with orchestras such as the Amsterdam Baroque Orchestra and the Orchestra of Flanders. He worked for renowned institutions such as the University of Leiden, Erasmus University Rotterdam, the Utrecht Early Music Festival and the Rembrandt Festival Leiden. He has also performed in prestigious venues such as Carnegie Hall in New York, St. Martin-in-the-Fields in London and the Cité de la Musique in Paris.
