Narada means meeting in Ukrainian and that is exactly what the Concertgemaal wants to achieve with this concert: an introduction to the culture of the country that is now under such terrible pressure. With beautiful music and delicious soup.

Ukrainian composers and other music
Borys Fedorov (piano), Tatiana Abayeva (piano) and Viktor Glybochanu (violin) are the three fantastic Ukrainian musicians who will play music by Ukrainian composers and other music close to their hearts this afternoon. After the concert there will be an opportunity to talk to the musicians and there will be soup from the Mirror Soup Kitchen The proceeds will benefit an artists' collective in Lviv that makes soup for the victims of the war.
Borys Fedorov and Tatiana Abayeva are both highly renowned musicians in Ukraine and have been working in the Netherlands since December 2021 as teachers at the Davidsbündler Music Academy in The Hague. Viktor Glybochanu is concertmaster of the Kyiv Symphony Orchestra and played with the Ukrainian Freedom Orchestra in 2022.
This afternoon, pieces by Silvestrov, Havrylets, Skoryk and Chopin are on the programme.
