Mezerg (ADE)
Keys, pedals and theremin: the French multi-instrumentalist Mezerg plays them all - at the same time. In his energetic live sets he fuses different (electronic) music styles, ranging from acid to funk and from jazz to techno. He calls his music PianoBoomBoom: a mix of classical piano and contemporary dance.

In addition to his dazzling one-man shows and the debut album 'Chez Mezerg', recorded in lockdown, the Frenchman is also known for his self-recorded videos in which he transforms objects into unusual instruments: you can see him playing watermelon segments and working an upside-down piano with a saw, among other things. After a sold-out show in Bitterzoet, Mezerg is going bigger this year during ADE 2023 in the Grote Zaal of Paradiso.
