Maurizio Silva Orendain + Ed Williams - The Archiorganos
Together on stage for the first time: two different organs with 31 notes per octave. One organ is based on the ideas of Nicola Vicentino (1555) and is called the archiorgano. The other is the Fokker organ, which finds its theoretical basis in the writings of Christiaan Huygens from 1691. For the first time, the Fokker organ is joined by a family member. In works by composers Ed Williams and Mauricio Silva Orendain, both organs can now be heard together in one space.
