Marc Broussard has the unique gift of sounding timeless. Inspired by classic soul, rock, rhythm and blues, he makes records that could have been released today or 40 years ago.
Unique raspy voice
His father, Ted Broussard, was in The Boogie Kings, and so he was brought up with music from an early age. After releasing several successful albums, he decided to release records and cover himself through his SOS Foundation (Save Our Soul). In this way, the artist supports various charities.
Broussard can be recognised for his unique mix of soul, rock, blues, R&B, funk-pop, and his distinctive raspy voice. 'Fire' was also released in July, which bodes well for his upcoming album, expected this autumn.
