The ensemble of members with the Concertgebouw Orchestra DNA has already played many arrangements of Bruckner symphonies in small ensembles. Now in Muziekgebouw aan 't IJ. Christian Richter
Dutch composer Christiaan Richter shows how the architectural apotheosis of Bruckner's Fifth Symphony could have sounded. According to the composer, the symphony will 'undergo various rinsings, pressings and sievings'. For Frieda Gustavs, Bruckner's Second Symphony is the reason for a journey back in time. She sings letters to her together with Pitou and Jasmine Karimova, accompanied by the trombones of Lonelinoise and the Royal Conservatory of The Hague.
