At 22, Lizz Wright made her national debut as a singer in a Billie Holiday tribute. Her breakthrough came with her 2005 album, Salt , which topped the jazz charts. In the years that followed, she released several successful albums. Her most recent album is Shadow , for which she wrote five songs herself. An album about emotions as diverse as love and grief, loss and recovery.
