Socially critical industrial metal

KMFDM, or Kein Mehrheit Für Die Mitleid, has been making socially critical industrial metal with electronic influences since 1984. Since the 1980s, the band has sold over 2 million records. KMFDM is the project of Sascha Konietzko, in collaboration with a never-ending stream of band members.

In the early years the band was mainly active in the Hamburg underground music scene, but after three albums the American Wax Trax! Records the band and they moved to Chicago.

There they quickly conquered their place in the local industrial scene, which also included bands like Ministry and My Life with the Thrill Kill Kult. Fans of the aforementioned acts, but also fans of Rammstein, Fear Factory, Marilyn Manson, Skinny Puppy and Nine Inch Nails, for example, can certainly enjoy this.

KMFDM recently released the new, eclectic album 'Paradise', which was received with open arms by fans and critics alike.
