The first cracks of the egg crack loudly. Curious, the little duckling looks through the crack… But who are you then? And why are you looking at me? It's high time to hatch and go on an adventure! You can see how this adventure ends in the Koorzaal of the Royal Concertgebouw. PLEASE NOTE: narration during this concert is in Dutch.

During this heartwarming concert about a day in the life of duckling Freddie, you can celebrate spring with us! Sing, jump and dance along in this musical and also exciting journey of discovery. The direction is in the hands of Jeroen van Herwijnen with the energetic musical playing of Diederick Ensink and Saskia Egtberts.
Children’s Concerts

The Concertgebouw’s Children’s Concerts take children aged 4 to 12 on a wonderful journey of discovery into the world of music, instruments and musicians. Breathtaking music and stories that challenge children to listen, to look, to sing and to participate. They learn about the most beautiful sounds and modern and ancient masterworks from near and far in a playful manner.
