The Amsterdam Capital City Choir sings! In the ST. John Passion, Bach set the Passion of Christ to music. He used all means to illustrate the text and make it tangible. The common thread is the Bible texts traditionally read on Good Friday.
In this abridged version a narrator connects the arias and chorales, making the St.John Passion an intense and moving story.
