Alexander is described as a traditional swing saxophonist who plays fantastic renditions of evergreens from the Great American Songbook. A collective name for countless jazz and easy-listening compositions by big names such as Cole Porter, George Gershwin, Leonard Bernstein, Oscar Hammerstein and many others.

Alexander was discovered in his younger years as one of the musicians of the Beets Brothers. Three young brothers who achieved national and international fame with their jazz renditions on piano (Peter), bass (Marius) and saxophone (Alexander).
