A musical journey that begins at the origins of purely Christian and liturgical music, describing a world in which man is part of a society that worships a deity that represents “everything” (his creator and reason for being) and that gives deep meaning to his life. This feeling of despair is heartbreakingly expressed in Carlo Gesualdo's madrigal Eccò morirò dunque

The music continues to develop when a moment of remembrance of the divine period comes to mind. The piece that represents this moment is the 2nd movement of Glazunov's saxophone quartet
