The Idema/Serierse Quartet has firmly established itself in the Dutch jazz landscape in recent years. Focusing on a unique blend of vocals and guitar, Gijs Idema and Anna Serierse sought the edges of the possibilities and fusion of their instruments.

Merging of their two musical worlds

After two successful studio albums with their own compositions ( Motus was nominated for an Edison Award, and with Cloud Studies, they performed at the North Sea Jazz Festival), it is time to return to the repertoire that this quartet has brought together: standards from the Great American Songbook. With refreshing arrangements and lesser-known works, they strive for the fusion of their two musical worlds.
