About Cécile Huijnen & Marieke Hopman

Cécile Huijnen and Marieke Hopman both graduated summa cum laude and have been among the top of Dutch and international music life for many years. Cécile, until recently concertmaster of Phion, frequently appears as a guest concertmaster and in solo and chamber music concerts. She is also active as a columnist, writer, coach and keynote speaker. She gives presentations in the business community about verbal and non-verbal communication and has been the presenter of the NTR radio program Diskotafel since January 2024. In 2021, her collection 'KAK ' was released, which sold out within six weeks. Marieke Hopman is one of the top accordionists in the Netherlands and is known as an ambassador of her instrument. She played with the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra during the open-air concert on the Museumplein, plays as a soloist and in chamber music at home and abroad, and is a principal subject teacher of accordion at the Conservatory in Amsterdam.
