Double Room

The Utrecht brothers Jaan and Mink Jaspers seek intimacy with Double Room, a program full of jazz chamber music in a special setting of bass guitar/double bass and saxophone/flute.

They pay tribute to contemporary Dutch jazz, including edited compositions by Kika Sprangers, Marit van der Lei, and Loek van den Berg. They also include work by their international jazz heroes, Sam Gendel, Joshua Redman, and Mark Alban Lotz, interspersed here and there with genuine standards.
