Holland Festival: Day of the composer- Meriç Artaç
For the national Day of the Composer, a music train runs through the country all day long. The Holland Festival commissioned Meric Artac for this occasion. Her composition will be premiered in the morning upon departure from Amsterdam Central Station.

The brass instruments of the Concertgebouw Orchestra kick off early in the morning on the IJ side of Amsterdam Central Station. The Amsterdam City Composer of the Day, Meriç Artaç, is writing a new composition especially for the opening, commissioned by the Holland Festival.
