The world-famous Flemish tenor Helmut Lotti has already ventured into various music genres in his thirty-year career; from Dutch to Elvis, from soul to classical and almost everything in between. And everything the Ghent native touches turns to gold. He has sold more than 14 million records and performed in leading concert halls worldwide. However, there was still one genre he had not yet explored: metal.

Famous classical tenor gives rock-solid rock performance

At least until September 2022, because that's when Helmut took on Iron Maiden's hit Run To The Hills for the Belgian radio station Radio Willy. The cover went viral and was picked up far beyond the Benelux. This success did not go unnoticed by the organizers of Graspop Metal Meeting, one of the largest metal festivals in the world, where he blew away a huge number of fans a year later with a rock-solid rock performance. On January 15, 2025, the Flemish tenor will come to the Main Hall of Paradiso as part of his 'Hellmut Lotti Goes Metal' tour to perform his favorite rock classics. The setlist includes songs from bands such as Kiss, Whitesnake and of course Iron Maiden.
