Hania Rani

Cinematic music with subtle vocals

Hanna Maria Raniszewska, aka Hania Rani, is a composer, singer and pianist. Born in Poland in 1990, she now commutes between Warsaw, Berlin and Zurich. Debut album 'Esja' will be released in 2019, consisting solely of solo piano pieces. With this she immediately won two Fryderyk Awards (the Polish Grammys). The second album 'Home' contains more cinematic parts and Rani adds subtle vocals, electronic elements, bass and drums. The visual music, which can be both supportive and leading, also ensures that she is in demand as a composer for film and series. It is therefore not surprising that the young composer is on the same label as Ludovico Einaudi, Hildur Gunðadóttir and Dustin O'Halloran. Hani is currently working on a new album of her own and several film projects.
