Gurdjieff Ensemble
Sometimes serene, melancholy and meditative, sometimes virtuoso and rhythmic, the Armenian Gurdjieff Ensemble is a pleasure to listen to. Under the direction of Levon Eskenian, the ensemble presents their interpretation of Armenian music on traditional instruments. Tonight's performance is dedicated to their new album Zartir, recently released on the quality label ECM Records.
