Special choir concert

A choir of 1000 voices, from the Dutch Grand Choirs, sing with Sterre van Boxtel and Leonardo Gramegna. A very special choir concert! Conductors Etty van der Mei and Nan van Groeningen have put together an inspiring mix of classical and popular Italian music especially for this concert. Together with the great accompanists Rob van Dijk, Martin Zonnenberg and Martin Mans you will be musically surprised.

Top soloists

The promising young soprano Sterre van Boxtel is at the beginning of a major singing career and is studying at the Sweelinck Conservatory Amsterdam. At the age of fifteen, Sterre already received an honorable mention at the Princess Christina Competition and also won the Young Talent Prize.

The Italian tenor Leonardo Gramegna is a much sought-after soloist, specializing in Italian opera. He has sung in many opera theaters in Europe including Venice and Parma. His sensational voice and impressive power ensured that art and heart meet in the song, moving the audience emotionally. An absolute highlight is his rendition of the famous aria 'Nessun Dorma' by Giacomo Puccini, the aria that made Pavarotti so famous. Together with Sterre van Boxtel and the Grootkoor they will move the audience. The program includes beautiful songs from classical choral works, opera and musicals.
