Own gothic stories
Raised on a diet of Nick Cave, it was no surprise that Gretel picked up a guitar at the age of 11 and began writing her own gothic stories and songs. As she grew as a musician, she started going to gigs and complementing her tastes with acts like Tim Buckley, Nirvana and Wolf Alice, her songwriting started to morph into what it is today; a mix of hi-fi grunge, gothic pop and indie ballads.
