Glaive

Glaive, an artist from North Carolina, creates melancholic and personal songs that combine influences of Midwestern emo, trap, pop and EDM. While his musics upbeat melodies and genre diversity have led listeners to place glaive in the hyper-pop genre, his music largely avoids the irony common to that movement. Most of his lyrics are about disappointment and depression.

I care so much that I don't care at all

He is part of the slowsilver03 collective, along with other musicians associated with hyperpop. He began releasing music in 2020, including the singles 'Life Is Pain' and 'Clover. After finding fame online, glaive signed with Interscope while still in high school and released his debut EP 'cypress grove' in November. This was followed by 'all dogs go to heaven' and 'then I'll be happy' in 2021 and 'old dog, new tricks' in 2022. This year he will release his long-awaited debut album 'I care so much that i dont care at all' release.
