In the Main Hall of the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, the orchestra welcomes award-winning violinist Sherry Tse in the lovely Chinese violin concerto Butterfly Lovers. The orchestra then accompanies top pianist Shiran Wang in Rachmaninoff's world-famous Second Piano Concerto. Dvořák's Ninth Symphony, aptly nicknamed 'From the New World', is the closing of the evening. It is a heart-touching experience full of refined romance.
